❝We came to Triomph for the kids karate class, and we have found a lovely community and a true sense of wellness there. Bringing my son three times a week is a pleasure for me because it's so nice to hang out in the bright and airy space, enjoy healthy treats from the smoothie bar and mingle with other parents. We love Triomph!❞ Jeanne S.
❝Triomph is a super place with a wonderful atmosphere. The one-on-one training sessions are great and the group classes are top notch. Don't forget to try a smoothie at the awesome juice bar. Having checked out almost all of the exercise/health facilities in the area, I can honestly report that the facilities and staff are second to none. Check it out!❞

❝I'm 42 and had basically given up on gyms, preferring yoga studios and running in the park. Then a friend convinced me to join Triomph and I'm only pissed that I didn't do it earlier. I love everything about this place: its open and airy feel, the warm and lovely owners, the amazing trainers (special mention to Dami and Teresa!!), and the other members. It's the most perfect place to work out and an AMAZING deal for personal training.❞

❝This is a great gym- I took the Core Class last night, the core instructor's name is Stephanie and not only was she sweet but man she is so good at teaching her interesting technique which incorporates Alvin Ailey dance moves...my legs felt stronger and toned after one class and I cant wait for my next one!
The space itself is breezy and open which is great- and I see that they have a juice-bar which I will definitely try out one day. Highly recommend!❞Caterina M.
❝Excellent gym and great group of fitness trainer's and class leaders! Everyone is so kind and warm. Not a trace of pressure or ego. I've been going for about two weeks and I've been impressed with the variety of classes (NOT packed), the diversity of other customers (fat, thin, old, young and all races), the cleanliness and organization/order of the place. The co-owner (Jack) is so funny. If you take his classes you'll be laughing, sweating and working your ass off the whole time.
Now on to my favorite part - their online scheduling of classes! Their website is awesome all around. It's very easy to navigate. You can reserve or cancel your class online, you can browse all class descriptions and read class leader's bios. No more going only to find your class is so full that your face is either in someone else's crotch or slammed up against the wall mirror. I love that their web savvy - it seems not very many gyms are and it's annoying. The price is right too - just $5 a class or $50 monthly unlimited.. DEAL!❞Nena G.
❝I must share this story with you. This morning, coming back from a walk with my senior 79 lb dog, I found the elevator was not working. Mind you I live on the 4th floor. Pup can't go up steps due to arthritis and ditto for standing long periods of time. Worst fear realized.
After calling around for support to no avail, I was left to lift and carry him up all those stairs (15x5). It was not easy to say the least! We finally made it back. Still shaking.
The point? There's two...
I firmly believe I would not have been able to help my dog in this crisis situation if it were not for the endurance and strength transformation I have experienced since starting classes at Triomph. I know this because I could not lift him even for a minute several months ago. Check and mate.
So folks, you never know when you may literally need to be in shape. In a crisis, to help a loved one or defend yourself. It is not just for bathing suits anymore!❞

I've been going to Triomph for 1.5 years, and I love it! After trying to go the gym on my own for over 10 years, I admitted to myself that I wasn't making any progress on my goals. The trainers at Triomph put me on a program where I go two times a week and I'm happy to say I see results! (Though I've attended several yoga classes, I mainly take advantage of the personal training that they offer.) While most people that go to the gym want to lose or maintain weight, I wanted to gain some. I'd been skin and bone for the first 30 years of my life and I was afraid it might be too late, but in the time I've worked with the trainers, I've gained over 25 pounds (mostly in upper-body muscle) while maintaining a healthy body fat percentage. And this was all while keeping my mostly-vegetarian lifestyle (something important to me!) The fitness assessment and nutritional session that comes free with personal training has been enlightening. With the periodic updates, I can see hard data that shows me what I've improved and where I should put my effort. I already feel healthy, but the math nerd in me enjoys seeing the numbers, plus I get to forward all this on to my doctor for my medical files! It's been a lot of hard work, but my trainers keep me motivated and wanting to come back for more. I can't recommend them enough. My only regret is that I wish I hadn't waited so long to start!

I carried my 29 pound dog down a flight of stairs, out through the doors, uphill and 10 of the 15 blocks to the Emergency Vet on Warren Street before having to set her down. (she has Kennel Cough). I carried her because she couldn't walk without coughing and spitting up, and carrying her relaxed her so she did not cough at all. When I was outside, I thought I'd make it to Hoyt only, then I thought Smith and 3rd Street would be my limit. What amazing success to get all the way across Sackett and Smith! So, anyway, I wonder if that is a workout in itself?
